COLLEGE FACT:<\/b> \u00a0Everyone wants to have a cool dorm!<\/p>\n

\"dorm-room-decorating\"<\/a>From personal experience, decorating your dorm can be overwhelming as a new student. So, don\u2019t wait until “move-in day<\/em>” to think about what to do with the four blank walls and one thread bare mattress! It\u2019s time to start thinking of how you are going to have the best room on the hall.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The first thing to do when decorating anything is to pick a theme or inspiration. After you select the theme you will need to narrow it down. \u00a0The theme will determine the colors and the elements you will include in your decoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Flowers<\/li>\n
  2. Nautical<\/li>\n
  3. Ocean<\/li>\n
  4. Black & White<\/li>\n

  7. Your favorite Cartoon<\/li>\n
  8. Your favorite singer \/ movie star<\/li>\n
  9. Video Games<\/li>\n
  10. Cars<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    It is important for you to know the space you will be decorating. The good news is that our dorms in Farmingdale are big enough to make you feel comfortable and they\u00a0include the basic necessities\u00a0(chest of drawers, night table, and a desk)<\/em>. Still, you need to check out the space before you buy anything so that you don\u2019t waste your money on unnecessary items.<\/p>\n

    Now let\u2019s get into decoration details!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

    At FSC<\/strong>, we are allowed to have wall art<\/em>, meaning that you can hang up your favorite pictures and create a beautiful collage<\/strong><\/em>.<\/td>\nDoor message board<\/strong><\/em>s<\/strong> are so cool. There are so many shapes and sizes. The funny thing about this is that some people will leave you funny messages on the board. NOTE:<\/strong> I had a little message board on my fridge and I was used to write messages like \u201cback off, there\u2019s no FOOD in here\u201d<\/em> or \u201cWhat is inside is NOT your business\u201d<\/em>. LOL<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    \"storage<\/a><\/td>\n\"Pillows<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Storage Boxes<\/strong> are MUST HAVE<\/strong> when you move-in! Some students usually place them under the bed, but if they are cute and match with your Deco<\/em>, there’s no need to hide them \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/td>\nWant to be unique<\/em>? Personalized pillows<\/strong><\/em> are just for you! They are classy and uncommon. This will be the perfect touch to make your room special.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    TAKE NOTE: <\/strong>Currently, closet curtains are not allowed. So don’t break the policies! Also, the best thing to do is to come early the day you are schedule to move-in. The earlier you come to Farmingdale, the earlier you finish unpacking all your stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
